Quest in partnership with Goke Dele Foundation is focused on the attainment of the objective of bringing succor and relief to indigent children and students. Our vision is for children to have the ability to pursue their dreams and aspirations without having to worry about basic needs like food, shelter and education and their mission is to be a major pioneer of poverty alleviation, hunger eradication and children empowerment.

TOSIHUN CROWNED CHAMPION IN QUEST QUIZ COMPETITION

Gift Tosihun, a primary 6 pupil of Ikota Government Primary School, Lagos State, has emerged the champion of the maiden edi­tion of the Quest Quiz Competi­tion, an initiative of Quest Oil, an indigenous energy company with a robust portfolio of investments in the upstream, midstream and the downstream sectors.

At the competition and prize-giving ceremony, which was held in Lagos, the competi­tion produced two runners-up and a grand prize winner walked away with N30,000 and many oth­er prizes.

The second position went to Kasali Karimat, a primary 5 pu­pil with N15,000 reward and other branded gift items such as school bag and writing materials. Kasali fought her way to beat Joshua Ola­niyi, who took the third position. Speaking on the occasion, the Director of Communications, Nigerian Heart Foundation, Mr. Abiola Awe, thanked the manage­ment of Quest Oil for providing a platform to enable the people in the grassroots to benefit from the initiative. He stated that awareness creation is needful in bridging the social inequality gap which often negates access to bet­ter health care.

He harped on the need for good education and public private partnership to support the people who are most vulnerable to health challenges.

Awe said taking care of the heart is fundamental to building a healthy society, adding that the Nigerian Heart Foundation was excited to see her partnership with Quest Oil already yielding positive fruits. In her remarks, the General Manager, Business Operations, Quest Oil, Dr. Ochuwa George, noted that the Quiz Competition is an intentional effort to provide a level playing field for the primary school students to compete while learning about basic science and healthy lifestyles

Quest Oil Group partners Neimeth, others on World Heart Day

Quest Oil Group, an indigenous energy provider has taken a major step in the fight against cardiovascular diseases and other related ailments.

As part of events to commemorate this year’s World Heart Day, the company, in collaboration with Goke Dele Foundation, Neimeth Pharmaceuticals and Clearline HMO, organised a walk to draw attention to issues affecting the heart. “COVID-19 pandemic has affected millions of people globally. But more importantly it has shown us the power of digital health in improving awareness, prevention and management of diseases such as cardiovascular dieases globally”, said Dr. Ochuwa George, the General Manager, Business Operations.

As Nigeria joined the rest of the World to mark this year’s World Heart Day with the theme; “Climate Change and Health Inequality, a Deadly mix for the Most Vulnerable”, experts have decried the increasing number of deaths from cardiovascular diseases, lamenting that 25 per cent of cardiovascular disease-related deaths are caused by climate change and air pollution. Quest Oil Group and the Corporate Communications and Branding Manager, Mr Gerald Moore said that the issue of heart health was a concern to the company and pledged their commitment to addressing carbon emissions to reduce heart disease risks.
